New Open | Animal Protection
The issue of stray animals has been a long-standing and increasingly serious challenge. However, it is not an insurmountable problem.
Through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) public welfare initiatives, we can work together to improve the lives of these strays while promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and animals.
What is TNR?
TNR is a humane method of managing stray animals by capturing them, neutering them to prevent reproduction, and then releasing them back into their original habitat. This approach not only helps control the growth of stray animal populations but also reduces problems associated with reproduction, such as noise, disease spread, and impact on the local ecosystem. Promoting animal welfare requires education and raising awareness. We need to educate residents in communities about the importance of TNR and how they can get involved. Through workshops, seminars, or community events, we can provide accurate information to the public and encourage them to actively support and participate in TNR programs.
Additionally, governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) can play crucial roles. Governments can support TNR programs by enacting corresponding laws and policies, as well as providing necessary funding and resources. NGOs, on the other hand, can organize volunteer teams to assist in implementing TNR programs and offer essential training and support.Seeing the significant impact, as evidenced by the 20,547 cats sterilized under the support of Stray Cat Neutering Association, it's evident that through TNR initiatives, OpenWorld International is dedicated to safeguarding these little lives and striving to create a better world.
